From PennDOT…..Route 8 Butler Street Eastbound Restrictions Begin Monday in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing lane restrictions on Route 8 (Butler Street) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will begin on Monday, Oct. 28, weather permitting.
Crews will be digging test holes for a new sign structure east of the intersection of Route 8 and One Wild Place daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Saturday, Nov. 30. Most work will occur behind the curb, however, the eastbound lane of Route 8 will be narrowed as needed to accommodate the work. City of Pittsburgh Police will control traffic through the work zone.

Additionally, the project includes reconstruction of 870 feet of Butler Street, improvements on One Wild Place, drainage, and sidewalk and signal upgrades.
