Morningside Mile Honoring Those Who Serve – 2013 Wrap Up

Thank you for your participation/donation/support for the runners for the 3rd Annual Morningside Mile Honoring Those Who Serve! This year we had over 150 participants register for the event and many others attend the Morningside Mile pasta dinner and comedy nights.  Together, we raised over $7,500 for the Wounded Warrior Project and the Morningside Area Community Council in the name of our honoree – Morningside resident, Army veteran, and current Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Officer David Condon.

Check Presentation

We will be presenting a check to the Wounded Warrior Project on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 4:30PM at the Wounded Warrior Project’s downtown Pittsburgh office and taking a tour of their facilities.  The Wounded Warrior Project is on the 9th floor of One Oxford Centre at 301 Grant Street. Please sign in on the first floor before taking the elevator.  If you park in the Oxford Garage on Cherry Way, bring your ticket with you to have your parking reimbursed.  Everyone is welcome to attend; please plan on stopping by!

We realize that you are extremely busy this time of year, however we’d like you take a few minutes to provide us with feedback on your experience and recommendation for next year. We are looking for feedback from those who participated in the race and those who did not, since the race impacts all Morningside residents.  Click here for the short survey:

Thank you again for your support of the 2013 Morningside Mile and we appreciate your help planning for an even more successful 2014 race!
