Two Great Recycling Opportunities

Council to Go
On Thursday, August 26th, meet Councilman Patrick Dowd at Council to Go, his mobile district office. Councilman Dowd and his staff will be available to hear your concerns and ideas, provide news on issues in Council, and help you access city services. Council to Go will be held from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the Morning Glory Coffeehouse at 1806 Chislett Street.

Important Public Meeting: Potential Greenway Designation

Please attend a community meeting on Thursday, July 1st, 2010, 7:00pm - 8:00pm, at the Union Project, 801 N. Negley Avenue, to learn more about the Greenway designation and whether it makes sense for the green hillside along Baker and Butler Streets in the Morningside and Stanton Heights neighborhoods. This meeting will be attended by the City Planning Department, the Real Estate Department, and Councilman Patrick Dowd.

Special Recycling Opportunities

Electronics: Empty ink cartridges, old cell phones, old digital cameras, iPods, video systems, (i.e. GameBoy, Nintendo, Atari consoles), PDA’s & lap tops can be dropped off at St. Raphel School or Parish offices for recycling.

Eye Glasses: Don’t throw your old eye-glasses away! The Knights of Columbus can use them for Missionary Distribution. Please bring them to the St. Raphael Parish Office.
