The MACC is working hard to understand your needs and want to know how we can communicate better.  If you live or do business in the neighborhood you are invited to participate in one of our communication  forums being held on Saturday, March 20, from 10 a.m. - Noon and Wednesday, March 24, from 6-8 p.m.  All attendees will have a chance to win various door prizes from local businesses.  Bring your family and friends!

Discussion of East End Schools

The new District 2 School Board member Dara Ware Allen will be at the Highland Park Community Council meeting on March 18th at 7pm at St Andrew's church. She will discuss the future of East End secondary schools and other issues. The principals from Obama IB and Peabody High School also hope to attend. There are many changes being considered for East End schools, and this is a chance for people in the community to learn more.

MACC always needs volunteers to help with a variety of projects, from event planning to mailings, and gardening to painting.  Let us know what you'd like to help with!
Special Recycling Opportunities

Electronics: Empty ink cartridges, old cell phones, old digital cameras, iPods, video systems, (i.e. GameBoy, Nintendo, Atari consoles), PDA’s & lap tops can be dropped off at St. Raphel School or Parish offices for recycling.

Eye Glasses: Don’t throw your old eye-glasses away! The Knights of Columbus can use them for Missionary Distribution. Please bring them to the St. Raphael Parish Office.
