Morningside is one of Pittsburgh's best kept secrets. Close-knit and friendly, neighbors live in two-story brick homes with old fashioned porches that encourage long talks and quick chats with friends and neighbors. Children ride their bicycles in the gentle shade of the trees that line the sidewalk, and joggers have two-square miles of neighborhood to explore.
The Morningside Area Community Council meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Morningside VFW Hall at 1820 Morningside Avenue. Follow Morningside on Twitter and Facebook ! |

Message from the President |
Transportation choices are an essential asset for any community. The ability to have easy access to a job, school, or shopping is a major consideration when selecting a place to live. Morningside, like many city neighborhoods, is fortunate to provide residents with a variety of transportation choices. Given our location and the physical design of the neighborhood, Morningsiders can drive, walk, bike or take a bus to some of the city's finest amenities, not to mention many destinations inside of the community. |
