Earth Day Litter Clean-Up Print E-mail

Keep Morninside Beautiful!  Join us on SATURDAY - April 24, 2010 at 10am!  We will be cleaning up Natoli Field, Heth's Field, Baker Street, Stanton Avenue, the Business District and the Public Stairwells.  Sign in at the VFW on Morningside Ave to get supplies, instructions etc.   Pre-volunteer sign up is encouraged.

Please know that this event is considered volunteer time, so if you need to obtain several hours for school, church, etc., I would be happy to write a letter regarding your participation.  Seeking sports teams, youth groups, students, and more. Community service hours available. All volunteers should sign in the day of event to receive trash bags, gloves, instruction, etc.  All interested volunteers/groups should call Amy at 412-330-7667

MACC always needs volunteers to help with a variety of projects, from event planning to mailings, and gardening to painting.  Let us know what you'd like to help with!
Special Recycling Opportunities

Electronics: Empty ink cartridges, old cell phones, old digital cameras, iPods, video systems, (i.e. GameBoy, Nintendo, Atari consoles), PDA’s & lap tops can be dropped off at St. Raphel School or Parish offices for recycling.

Eye Glasses: Don’t throw your old eye-glasses away! The Knights of Columbus can use them for Missionary Distribution. Please bring them to the St. Raphael Parish Office.
