Most of the homes in Morningside were built before the middle part of the 1900s. With part of the neighborhood built into a hillside, and the other side overlooking Heth’s Run, lot sizes are varied in Morningside. In some areas the homes are quite close together, while others have larger lots with overflowing gardens.
While most of the homes in Morningside are one- and two-family dwellings, apartment housing is also available. Housing styles are varied, and range from large American four-square homes to smaller bungalows, peppered with row houses and even some ranch-inspired architecture.
